WEST BROM PLANNING DOUBLE RAID ON MANCHESTER UNITED

According to several reports from multiple sources, West Bromwich Albion are keen to bolster their squad this summer and are eyeing loan moves for two Manchester United youngsters to achieve that. The Baggies are said to be interested in taking two of the Red Devils’ youngsters, Uruguayan international attacking midfielder Facundo Pellistri and Ivory Coast wonderkid Amad Diallo. Diallo has particularly been a subject of intense transfer speculation amid reports that he could be sidelined to only a few minutes of Premier League football next season, meaning he could be set to leave Old Trafford on a temporary basis.

The Ivorian played a bit-part role under Olé Gunnar Solksjær last season and was restricted to limited game time as he remains behind Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Daniel James, (and now) Jadon Sancho for a starting spot in the team. He may now have to assess his options and analyze his future as he reportedly wants to play more games to continue his development.

Pellistri, on the other hand, returned from his loan spell last season but just like Diallo, he is not expected to play a lot of games this season and has also been added to the list of the likely loam departures this summer. The Uruguayan starlet scored a beautiful goal in United’s pre-season win over Wayne Rooney’s Derby County some days ago and Solksjær was asked about his future at the club.

The United manager mentioned that Pellistri is attracting interest from some clubs, including Spanish La Liga club Alves. Solksjær added that United are seriously considering the offer from the Spanish club as they want Pellistri to have more games under his belt to improve his trade. It’s a huge transfer blow to West Brom as they want to take the Teo starlets together on loan.
