BROM IN THE RACE FOR LALLANA

Liverpool’s Adam Lallana will be out of contract at the end of the season. The player will be available for free in the summer and top clubs have already registered their interest in the player.

According to reports, despite interest from high flying Serie A side Lazio, another high-flying team in the premier league Leicester City, are leading the race to sign the Liverpool midfielder, who will be out of contract in a matter of months.

Lazio are preparing a raid on the premier league during the summer transfer window. The Rome based outfit have been linked with another Liverpool player Dejan Lovren. The club will make a move for the duo at the end of the season. Lazio have enjoyed a fine season so far. They are second in the table, and they pose a serious threat to Juventus as the Old Lady bid to win their 9th straight Serie A title.

The 31-year-old joined the club from Southampton in 2014. He enjoyed consistency with the club in his early days before injuries set in. He has become a bit part player since returning to first team action.

He has made only 22 appearances this season with most of his appearance coming from the bench. His time with the club is coming to a natural end as the player has declared he wants a new challenge. He is looking for first team action and Leicester City are prepared to offer the England international just that.

With his deal set to expire, Lallana is free to talk to other interested teams about a potential move elsewhere as he looks for regular game time.

According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness) Leicester lead the likes of Lazio, West Brom in the race for the English playmaker.
